Round 8
 |
“Unacceptable” that is how you would describe our performance against Norwood. Once again we gave our opposition a head start and couldn’t reel them in.
As far as 4 quarter performances there were only two players that could hold their head high, with Allan and Sporn really carrying our boys along. We have some players down at the moment, they can’t put in for the four quarters and it is costing us on the Scoreboard. With the Reserves playing well, it is time to reward some of those players that are performing well. We will regain some Run this week through Ward and Ryswyk and maybe even Clarke and or Delvins, that will certainly help our cause.
This week will be testing for the Club, strong Clubs dig deep and add resolve, weak Clubs start the blaming game and fracture. We are a strong Club that will bounce back against the Eagles next week, for those supporters out there stay strong, it is these times people are measured.
Goal Kickers: Younie, Lonie 2, Wright, O’Brien, Archard, Sporn, Gill 1.
Main Possession Getters: Allan (34 Possessions), Sporn (25 Poss), O’Brien (20 Poss)
Andrew’s Best Players: Allan (A Class Act), Sporn (Most under rated Player in the SANFL)
The Reserves led from start to finish to record a easy win, with Bluey losing about 10 players from last week to injury and State U18’s, it was good for them to record a clinical win. Daniel Ward and David Clarke returned from injury and oozed Class with a capital “C”.
Goal Kickers: Delvins 4, Clarke, Wundke 2, M.Motlop, Schubert, Thiele, W.Thompson 1.
Main Possession Getters: Krieg (28 Possessions), Clarke (25 Poss), T.Armstrong (24 Poss), McGahey (23 Poss)
Scott’s Best Players: T. Armstrong (Getting closer to a League Promotion) Clarke (Great to see him back from injury, will be very valuable in the League very soon), Delvins (Very Close), Thiele (Great to see him back in the Ressies, played a great game).
