Virtual Runner
Give the virtual runner your message to be delivered to a player or the coach. Keep it short and sweet 'cos he has to remember it. We wouldn't want chinese whispers! If its a good message he will pass it on to everybody right here.
You really kept me busy in 2009.. I remember all of them. Take a look at what you asked in 2009.
Message to all those supporters who sent in messages to the Club regarding the Appointment of Josh Francou
Josh Francou Appointment
The Club would like to acknowledge all those who have responded to Josh’s appointment in such a positive manner. There is no doubt Josh has an enviable football CV at both SANFL and AFL levels. Respected by the wider football community, he will utilise an extensive network of football contacts in what is his first coaching experience. Importantly Josh wanted to coach North Adelaide, not just any coaching appointment, this Club, his Club – the Roosters.

I am very concerned about the decision to chase fantasies in other competitions our focus should be 100% on winning SANFL premiershipssss which we havent won for 19 years
CEO
Thanks Andrew
As already explained, we not "chasing fantasies" but taking up an opportunity for our players, coaches and the Club itself. Our number one goal remains the same - to win a premiership.

Re: the so-called National Competition. Call me a cynic but whenever a Money making organisation such as the AFL come up with a scheme like this I can only wonder what's in for them (and usually at the expense of someone else!). It seems to me that the main purpose of the competition is not to benefit the various participating teams but for the AFL to have ready access to the football talent in Australia which they will ultimately grab for their own grubby ends. I don't particularly want to be part of that grubby deal!
Thank you.

Everyone has their own train of thought on this matter. We have elected to take up the offer.

Hello there,
I'm a long time follower of the roosters and i'm just curious 2 know, has the club considered changing the playing jumpers back 2 the old red and white stripes?? I like the old strip better haha
CEO
Tim
With respect - no, the V will stay
Tony
Well done to the NAFC for the re-think on alternative / away jumper. The reverse of the home strip is the most logical and the jumper looks good and like a football jumper!
CEO
Thanks for the positive feedback Tony

interested to know how some of the young guys who made their league debuts last year are shaping up for next season, was particularly impressed with potts & clisby have we retained both of these lads ?, if so how are they looking for the coming season? Also , is Dylan Dempsy back training yet?
Football Manager
" Several of the boys who made their League debuts last year are moving well. The two you have mentioned, Clisby and Potts, have both had solid starts to the pre-season training work. Clisby in fact, has been outstanding. We are hoping for very good seasons from both these boys. Dylan Dempsey will resume training on 10 January after being ill for several weeks. He is well and truly into his recovery which is great"

gday could you please let members know where our club stands in relation to the champions concept we are the only club without an opinion. a bit embarrassing for members when asked by rival members on our stance thanks. go roosters
Football Manager
"Our position on the Leagues Championships is that if we are invited to play in it, we will. We have confirmed this to the SANFL, so if asked to play, we would look forward to being involved"

where is the club at with tall defenders, and would like to kn0w if Pollock is still around the club. thought he looked good last season, wasn't loose and rarely out marked.!.
Club President
"Yes, Steven Pollock is still here, and training really well and looking good. Regards tall defenders, we have added Todd Miles (193cms) who has played 40 League games at the Eagles as a tall defender or back up ruckman, we have also added Andy Lee, who at 196cms could certainly take the tall forwards from the opposition. I also think James Angus, who came in late 2010 will have an impact as a tall defender. He has played nearly 30 league matches (Eagles), is 195cms and very fit. Like Pollock, is a natural tight defender".

I hear dylan dempsey is not well in hospital how is he
Club President
Dylan was hospitalized for 10 days with a stomach complaint. He lost nearly 10 kgs during this time, but is now recovering back home in Mount Gambier for 2 weeks before he heads back to Adelaide. His illness still has not been accurately diagnosed, however he is on the mend and we hope to see him on the track after Christmas.
