Younger Thompson shines in State Game

Kriston Thompson, younger brother of exciting league forward Wade, dominated in the State Under 20's game against the State U18's side on Saturday getting named 2nd best for his side, with scribes saying he must of only just missed out on the best on Ground honours. Kriston a draft hopeful in his own right dominated the game in which the the State Under 20's soundly beat our State Under 18's. Kriston controlled play from Half Back, with many touches, all of which help set up the Under 20's forward thrusts, his disposal under pressure is always good and it was great for him that he could translate his Reserves form to that higher level.

North also had some boys in the Under 18's side with Rhys O'Keefe, Lewis Johnston and Dale Armstrong all being involved in the game. The Under 18's are right in the middle of their campaign, and its great from a NAFC perspective that all three players mentioned have regularly been named in that's sides best players. The Club will keep all supporters up to date with their coming performances when they venture to Melbourne to take on the big guns. Also in the Under 18's squad is Phil Davis (Injured - hopes to return in this weeks game), Johnny Boras and Charlie McAdam.

Good Luck Boys!
