2010 is Over

Full marks to the Coaches and Players for their efforts to finish the year off with three wins, albeit was not enough to allow us to finish in the finals. The match on Saturday was played in arguably the worst conditions imaginable with incredibly strong winds and rain. Players on both sides were committed all day, with North’s third quarter setting up the victory. Heath Younie’s last quarter goal at a critical time was a fitting tribute to a special career. It may also have been the last for Daniel Motlop who is rumoured to be seeking a new AFL Club. If so, his special talents have been evident to all in the last two weeks at Prospect (4goals) and Alberton (3 goals).
