It’s started!

After an extended period of negotiation and planning, the refurbishment of the Function room has begun. The demolition of the existing ceiling and bar commenced at 7am this morning under the supervision of Kennett Builders. It is not expected that the work will be complete until late January, with an exclusive invitation extended to members for inspection once complete. The contract for work includes the following:
• New ceiling, audio / visual systems
• New bar facilities
• Improved natural light provided by windows looking out towards the park on the western side of the room.

The proposed levelling of the mound on the oval side will not proceed due to drainage issues and cost. Please see the attached perspectives
