Intra-club match report

Saturday 20th February saw the start of North Adelaide’s 2010 campaign with an Intra-club match held at Cornerstone College in Mount Barker. Experienced players in Allan, D.White, Sporn, Younie, Cunningham, Ackland, Ivens, Whyman, Michael Wundke and our entire AFL contingent did not play to allow Daniel Healy and his coaches the opportunity to have a look at the club’s younger and new players in different positions.

In windy conditions the trial played over three quarters was of high standard with recruits Elstone and Connors playing well ‘on-ball’ and at ‘wing’ respectively. Andrew McIntyre after a huge pre-season controlled the backlines. While younger players in Delvins, Pfeiffer, Thring and Thiele also performed well as the Club looks to these players’ continued development in Season 2010.
