Another Funny Name

Under this same heading back on the 3rd. November, we posted an article about an Adelaide based music group from the past, named Johnny Broom and the Handles.

The correct name of the group is in fact, John E. Broom and the Handles.

This Group was one  of the Bands in the late 50's and 60's rock bands which became the Saturday night phenomenon in South Australia, at the time, and they played many a gig at the Palais Royal Theatre, {then} in North Terrace.

Anyone around my vintage remember John E. and his mates??

Thank you to Rooster member, Michael Girke for providing this information.
