The North Whyalla Maggies Got Up

I went back to Whyalla on the weekend to watch the Mighty North Whyalla Maggies play their annual Shield match against {the old enemy} West Whyalla. We prevailed by 14 points in the end. It was a terrific match with West getting within 7 points of the Maggies with about 10 minutes left to play. Our boys stuck to their task very manfully kicking a further 1 goal 1 behind in  to a strong breeze in that hectic and tense last 10 minutes of the game.  A most entertaining game, and for me, a terrific result.

Onya Freddy and boys.......I had a most enjoyable drive back to Adelaide.
